the city. the coast guard said the bay was calm. a spokesperson for the golden gate transportation district said the smaller boat was reportedly to be traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit the ferry. none of the 500 people on the ferry were hurt. the accident, as you may imagine, caused a commotion on the tiburon waterfront at coast guard and medical choppers landed and took off. here's what one person told abc7 news. >> they were doing cpr on one guy. they continued to do cpr. didn't look too good for him. the other guy they brought up in a gurney and loaded him up. he had blood on his face. >> the rescue effort involved emts from the coast guard and the fire department as well as a surgeon and nurse who happened to be on the ferry. they jumped on board the victim's boat to help. the coast guard interviewed witnesses throughout the night to determine exactly what happened. the ferry captain and the five deck hands were placed on administrative leave. we should mention that that is cust
